Support for People Who Are Ready to Do More

The people I work with aren't waiting for someone to do things for them. They're adults with mild intellectual disabilities who have goals, preferences, and real capacity for growth — and they need a support person who takes that seriously.

What Higher-Functioning Looks Like Day to Day

Adults with mild intellectual disabilities communicate verbally, engage socially, and navigate a lot of daily life with varying levels of support. They may live at home with family, in a supported living arrangement, or be working toward living more independently.

They often have employment goals, want to manage their own money, participate in their community, and make their own decisions. What they need isn't someone to manage their life — it's a skilled, consistent support person who helps them build the tools to run it themselves.

My practice is built entirely around this population because that focus makes me better at serving them. I'm not a catch-all provider — and that specificity is a feature, not a limitation.

  • Getting and keeping a job — or preparing for competitive employment
  • Managing money: budgeting, banking, avoiding financial exploitation
  • Cooking and meal preparation for themselves
  • Using public transportation independently
  • Navigating community spaces: stores, appointments, social settings
  • Building social confidence and communication skills
  • Self-advocacy — knowing their rights and how to speak up for themselves
  • Developing consistent daily routines and household skills

Private Pay — Simple and Direct

Private Pay

I currently operate on a private-pay basis only. You pay me directly — no agency, no waiver, no Medicaid process required. I invoice you after each visit or on a weekly basis, whichever works better for your family.

Self-Directed Services

There is no intake coordinator, no matching process, and no waiting list. You contact me directly, we talk, and if it's the right fit we sign a simple service agreement and get started.

How to Find Out If You Qualify

Rates start at $50/hr with a 3-hour minimum per visit. Life Skills Coaching and Respite Care are $55/hr. I send a clear invoice — no hidden fees, no agency overhead.

No Waiver or Agency Required

Private pay is the only option I currently offer, and it's the simplest path. No Medicaid, no agency, no administrative process. If you're looking for consistent, experienced support and prefer to keep things straightforward, this is how we work.

You pay me directly, I invoice you, and we get to work. No coordinator in the middle, no waiting list.
